Distractions
Yep. I'm back. I dont stick to things well do I? I guess being weird helps me decide to forget things. On to today's topic: Distractions!
I'm always getting distracted. I doodle, I surf the web, I pick up a random book, ect...
And I cant seem to fix that trait. Oh I try, I really do, but the siren call awaits me. I try to stave it off with a good book or knitting or work or drawing. They all work perfectly as most of them are more distractions. But isn't life just a distraction? Merde. I'm waxing philosophical again. This is me. Teenage thinker who is easily distracted.

Camp NaNoWriMo (or Do I Even Think I Can Do This?)
So I've decided to do Camp NaNoWriMo in June. I hope I actually do it and not some half baked attempt (though half baked stuff tastes pretty good; just ask Milo) as I am likely to do. My idea: An urban fantasy novel. KInda generic, but I think my take will be good for only two days of working on the plot. It has dragons, changelings, evil gods, and lots of random Greek myths. Oh and vampires (what teen novel these days doesn't have them?). So wish me luck if I even decide to do it. Yeah, I'm impulsive. What gave it away?

Mary Sues
I've been reading a ton of sporks lately. The best park are the trolls, because of the way the commentators act about them. The main reason I decided to write about sues here is that I found one that I wrote near the beginning of the year(luckily it was in a notebook in an original world, but still a Mary sue *shudders*). I never wrote much about the characters, but most of them didn't have much personality. Still I had a few funny-ish lines such as:
"We need maps!" announced A, which led B to exclaim "To the Library!"
"Uh, do you two geniuses know where the Library is?" asked C.
"No idea." replied B cheerfully.
"It's in the job description, sunshine" said C to D
"The future is not fixed, but those two bickering is set in stone" said C
"Did he kill nice sweet dragons to build his throne?" asked A.
"He did" replied M.
"Then he will die!" exclaimed A.
"Of course he will," said B exasperatedly, " as he's the villain."
These are probably the best lines of the whole short thing that I never completed. I think my writing has gotten much better in that short time. At least now I'm trying to make flawed characters and am getting better at plot exposition instead of doing Deus ex Machina.

Star Wars monopoly
Tonight I'm playing Star Wars Monopoly with dad and Trouble. Trouble is Yoda, dad is Vader, and I'm Leia (in the famous Tatooine outit no less). Some of the highlights so far are: Sonic screwdrivers can be imagined anywhere, Trouble makes an Amelia Pond style apple of the doctor with a 5 credit fez, I go puppy dog eyes over the death stars so I can blast anyone I like, Vader wins a beauty contest, I'm continually mistaking Leia for Yoda, we treat the bank like an ATM, and Trouble hugs and fake kisses.
Crashed train of thought
Today, I'm sitting on a bed reading and knitting to my hearts content(well maybe not knitting, but I will soon. I think?). Anyway I'm reading Terry Pratchett(and sneaking Anne of green gables) and dying of randomly induced fits of laughter from DW memories and the cuteness of Torchwood Babiez, which if you like DW or TW you must read(I mean come on baby!Ten and baby!Jack). I rewatched silence in the library last night, and now I know who River is it's stll pretty weird(and written by Steven Moffat, which explains a lot). I will not divulge River secret for fear of anyone who lays on this blog being annoyed with me for posting it(even though I bet millions of bloggers have already done this).I'm starting to notice that the posts on this blog are my train of thought which makes leaps in the oddest ways. And I'm thinking of Victor Krum right now. Very disturbing. My current knitting project is my first sweater and I'm thinking of knitting a very ticked of pink dalek(and maybe dalek bob sometime). The title of this post is from Sharkboy and Lavagirl which I bet someone knows out there in the giant sprawling web(which has spiders and babys wandering around in it). Bored now and wanting DW t-shirts. I think I should tell people whats in my backpack as it shows I have mixed taste in books. It contains: The Second Wheel of Time, Small Gods, Jane Eyre,The Steampunk Bible, and Ghosts of Route 66.

My insanely awesome day.
So, who uses google? I know I do, and yeah, you must if you're reading this. On monday I drove around google's HQ. And it was cool. It had giant cupcakes and donuts, for crying out loud! Oh yes and this is a deranged middle of the night post after a day of immersing myself in The Steampunk Bible(which I should have written in italics, but the stupid iPad won't let me. Grrr) and trying to write a really short, short story which I will try to put up on here. Now, on to business such as learning to sew. Yep, I want to sew. Clumsy old me who once made an insane wizard rode with a very strange sleeve wants to sew. But come on its for a good cause, right? Doesn't steampunk count as a good cause? Oh, yes if you want someone stanger than me whonwrites because the fancy takes her, you should pop on over to The Winchester Mystery House built by a crazy old insanely rich lady, who always had the house being built to appease the spirits she thought killed her husband and child and to live forever. No joke, she had the strangest house ever with a door to nowhere(quite literally as it dropped off the side of the house), windows in the floor, an obseussion with the number 13, and of course her own personal seance room. Well I've said enough for tonight, Au-Revoir!(and next time I need to say goodbye I will look up that fake elvish translator Malgora showed me)
